My journey to this moment hasn’t been an easy one. I lost both of my parents much too young and in quick succession to cancer. While walking with them through their illnesses I saw firsthand how much an encouraging word could uplift their spirits. I also recognized how dependent we become on our pillows during times when we are needing comfort. Whether being propped up on the couch, headed to treatment or resting in bed we often seek the functional support a pillow offers.

And that is where the idea of Bolster began. My hope is that our pillowcases will provide you with what I have spent a very long time trying to find… a gift that combines encouragement with practical use.
